iQOO Z7 Pro 5G launched: Dimensity 7200, 3D curved Super AMOLED, and 64MP Aura Light OIS camera!

iQOO announced a new smartphone under the Z-series line featuring a MediaTek chip, curved display, and more.

The first thing we notice is its uncanny resemblance to the vivo V27 and V29 series in terms of design. You can also notice the Aura Light ring flash which originated from the latter. While the phone appeared slim in 7.36mm thin.

At the front, the phone uses a 6.78-inch Super Vision AMOLED curved screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200Hz touch sampling rate.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.8GHz 4nm Dimensity 7200 octa-core chip with Mali-G610 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage options.

The features

For battery, it uses a 4,600mAh capacity which then charges using USB-C and a 66W flash charger. iQOO claims this can reach 1 to 50 percent in 22 minutes.

For cameras, it uses a 64MP primary shooter with OIS and is joined by a 2MP depth helper + Aura Light ring flash. As for selfies, it uses a 16MP sensor.

Others mentioned are the 3000mm2 vapor chamber liquid cooling system, 4D game vibration, motion controls, IP52 rating, and stereo speakers.

Connectivity-wise, the phone has 5G,4G, WiFi6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 skin on top. iQOO also promises 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security patches.

The iQOO Z7 Pro is now available for pre-order in India. While the open sales begin on September 5. Again iQOO has remained elusive in the PH market which means you'll have to find other ways to get it.
