A Japanese phone maker has created a retro-themed flip phone with modern hardware inside.

Retro meets modern!

As you can see, this will remind you of the traditional flip phones like Moto Razr, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson back in the years 2005 to 2010.

This has bar-type or boxy edges in Beige colors and White faux leather on its back cover. Then you will see the numeric keypad and navigation keys for controls. There are also customizable buttons and Android navigation keys as well. Meanwhile, the front cover also shows a mini screen that can display time. It's unknown yet whether it has further functions.

On the screen side, it uses a 3.5-inch LCD (IPS) with 1440 x 720 resolution.

Inside, it has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which can be expanded via a memory card.

For battery, it has a 2,500mAh capacity that can be charged with a USB-C cable and unspecified watts of charger.

In terms of cameras, it uses a single 48MP primary rear shooter and a 13MP for selfies.

Connectivity-wise, it has 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM support.

For software, the phone runs Android 13 Operating System.

Japan price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Mode 1 RETRO II - JPY 29,800 (around PHP 11.3K)

The device's pre-order has already started in Japan and the sale begins on October 20. There's no word if it will be available globally.
