2. Use the phone even when closed - Thanks to its vertical orientation, the phone is arguably more usable and user-friendlier than the competition allowing its owners to use it even when closed.

Some of the useful native apps include Camera, Weather, Event reminder, Gamesnacks, Recorder, To-dos, Timer, Phone, Alarm, Music Player, and Calculator, among others.

Other apps that I use that work here are Netflix, Reddit, Viber, WeChat, Grab, YouTube, and YouTube Music.

When you use apps like Spotify, it'll have a mini music player control on the home screen.

Mini screen for discreet watching?

Personally, I use the cover screen a lot to play mini-games on Gamesnacks when I'm bored, read Reddit posts on the go without the need to open the go, and watch clips on TikTok or YouTube discreetly. There are even occasions when I use it to watch Netflix on the go without too many people noticing what series or movie I watch.

When traveling, I use it to hail a Grab ride or use Google Maps on this mini display. Since Grab works, you can also use it to order food via GrabFood.

4. Take advantage of its powerful Hasselblad triple camera system - As mentioned earlier, you may use its cover screen to take high-quality images using its triple camera system tuned by Hasselblad. 

While its 32MP f/2.4 Sony IMX709 RGBW selfie cam is highly capable when needed, its primary  50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX890 OIS + 48MP f/2.2 Sony IMX581 114-degree ultra-wide camera + 32MP f/2.0 Sony IMX709 2x telephoto will definitely give better results.

In particular, I enjoy using it when taking 0.6 Gen Z selfies with crisp details. With the help of this, you will also be able to take flagship-level Portrait selfies even in the dark. Of course, you will be able to see yourself first before taking the shot.

Thanks to its high-quality folding hinge mechanism, you may also use the phone to shoot photos and videos either landscape or portrait. On photo mode, you may even show your palm to automatically take a photo without pressing the button.

For videos, you can even access the dual preview mode AKA the "handycam mode" allowing both the shooter and the subject to see what is being filmed at the same time.

Again, there is almost no crop when viewing the preview of the photo and videos on the cover screen.

It is very easy to use and preview photos especially when you are using the back cameras for selfies with almost no crop.

5. Cute interactive cover screen pets - OPPO took its AOD (always-on display) and the cover screen to a different level. They upgraded the cover screen pets from 2D to 3D. There are more pets to choose from as well. It includes a Bird, a Cat, a Dog, a Hamster, a Koala, a Panda, a Rabbit, and a Tiger that reflect what the user is doing–listening to music or sleeping and even just playful and cute.

Each cover screen pet shows different animations when you touch the display.
