OPPO Find X7 Ultra announced: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 4x Hasselblad 50MP cameras with two persicope lenses

The new OPPO Find X7 Ultra builds on the strengths of the Find X6 Pro by using a 3D curved back design with a vegan leather finish and a circular camera hump. This time, the colors available are Ocean and Sky, Desert Silver Moon, and Pine Shadow Blue.

In front, it has a similar-looking 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. But, the peak brightness is now up to a whopping 4,500 nits which means that it is highly visible even under direct sunlight exposure.
Under the hood, it uses the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with a new generation Adreno GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 00W SUPERVOOC charging, 50W AIRVOOC, and 10W reverse charging.
The main highlight of this handset is its cameras in partnership with legendary camera maker Hasselblad.

In particular, the device boasts a 50MP f/1.8 Sony LYT-900 w/ 1G7P lens, OIS + 50MP f/2.0 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera w/ 4cm macro + 50MP f/2.6 Sony LYT-600 3x periscope camera + 50MP f/4.3 Sony IMX858 6x periscope camera + LED flash at the back that are touted to give impressive shots for a smartphone in different situations and lighting conditions.
Moreover, OPPO is introducing the new "HyperTone" engine designed to keep the photos you took natural-looking without compromising quality.
Of course, it has professional Hasselblad portraits as well as a new generation of super light and shadow image engines.
According to OPPO, the device is also the first Android with dual-frame technology, increased shutter speed by 4x, and the industry's first HDR preview.
The selfie camera has been updated to 32MP f/2.4 Sony LYT506 which now finally supports 4K at 60fps videos.
The handset loads with Android 14 OS with ColorOS 14 overlay out of the box. The company promised that it'll receive 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security patches.

The OPPO Find X7 Ultra is now available for pre-order in China. It'll go on sale starting January 12.
