HUAWEI highlights the EMUI 14 and cameras of nova 12 SE and 12i!

HUAWEI boasts the EMUI 14 and cameras of the nova 12 Series!

To start, both phones feature the 108MP f/1.9 main camera with 1/1.67-inch sensor size and 9-in-1 pixel fusion technology and Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL) to achieve clarity and precision, even in low-light situations as HUAWEI claims.

They differ in partner sensors as the Nova 12i has another 2MP f/2.4 depth shooter while the Nova 12 SE gets an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide unit and 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor.

Another spotlight is the EMUI 14 OS which the brand says improves the user customization experience bringing practical functionalities to its consumers.

Among the highlights of the EMUI 14 is the option to choose from magazine, poster, and headline themes which lets users express their unique style and personality giving their device a whole new look. The brand noted having this feature means that the user doesn't need to endure the generic UI of modern smartphones.

In addition, the EMUI 14 comes with interactive themes ranging from emoji wallpapers for the lock screen and home screen, for a more personalized experience.

The camera app interface

These phones also feature fresh interfaces, several improvements, and user-friendly changes to their cameras. For example, there's a camera toolbox which users can simply tap on the arrow right below the shutter and they can conveniently set or tweak the camera effects of the phone without blocking the view of their subjects.

The new EMUI 14 also offers faster and better multitasking. It has a live view feature that lets users access real-time task summaries directly from the upper left corner of the status bat. It also comes with dynamic display information like call duration, and multi-screen collab status.

Expanding the Live View capsule into a card state allows for extensive information and typical actions, such as pausing or ending operations, without interrupting your activity. Live view is currently available in apps such as screen recording, HUAWEI share, video calls, and HUAWEI print.

When it comes to the Card Folder feature, lets users customize their device's home screen by squeezing the desktop with two fingers and inserting cards from service widgets. Personalize your home screen and easily access app information with these features. Users can easily organize their home screen layout by stacking and rearranging cards.
