Motorola Edge 50 Pro launched: SD 7 Gen 3, 125W charging, 50MP AI main cam!

Motorola announces the Edge 50 Pro bringing some attractive changes from its predecessor.

The phone' design

Motorola Edge 50 Pro launched!

Among the notable changes is the silicon vegan leather design. It now comes with Blacky Beauty, Luxe Lavender, and Moonlight Pear color choices.

At the front, the phone features a 6.7-inch curved pOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate HDR10+, FHD+ resolution, and 2,000 nits max brightness.

The display and key features

Inside, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 12GBRAM, 256GB storage, 4,500mAh capacity that charges using 125w TurboPower wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

For cameras, the phone is equipped with a 50MP main sensor with an OIS + 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom + 13MP ultra-wide angle shooter with macro and depth capabilities.

Meanwhile, this is also the first Motorola device with AI Photo Enhancement Engine which optimizes motion capture and color segmentation of the phone.

Other features noted are IP68 water and dust resistance, an In-Display fingerprint reader, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For connectivity, the phone has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with the promised upgrade of up to Android 17.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Motorola Edge 50 Pro 8GB/256GB - INR 31,999 (around PHP 21.6K)

Motorola Edge 50 Pro 12GB/256GB - INR 35,999 (around PHP 24.3K)

It is currently going to be available in India via Flipkart, Motorola's website, and offline stores starting April 9, 2024.
