vivo V40 SE 5G launched: SD4G2, 256GB storage, and 50MP camera!

vivo introduced a new entry-level device called the V40 SE 5G.

The new device sports a traditional vivo chich look with fresh color choices of Leather Purple or Crystal Black version. Alongside that, you can notice a rectangular camera island that houses the three sensors and LED flash.

At the front, it is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ 2400 x 1080 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800 peak brightness.

Inside, the phone is equipped with the 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For battery, it comes with a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using USB-C and supports up to 44W rating. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a charger in the box.

In the camera department, the phone sports a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. For selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.0 shooter.

Other features noted are stereo speakers, an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14.

Unfortunately, the pricing and availability are not confirmed yet. You can view the listing on vivo's European and Austrian websites. We can expect vivo to reveal it shortly. We will update this article once we see it.
