HUAWEI has shown the new Freebuds 6i in Malaysia brings some improvements in ANC and battery life.
The new earbuds sport an 11mm quad-magnet dynamic driver but it is now 50 percent more powerful along with Hi-Res certification as per HUAWEI.
It now features a new noise cancellation algorithm called the Intelligent Dynamic ANC. HUAWEI says, it analyzes external noises and adjusts the noise cancellation automatically. The new buds include a noise-filtering chamber that efficiently filters mid and high-frequency voices and sounds.
Another change is in the battery department at least for the case which now has 510mAh a 25 percent increase from last year's version. Meanwhile, the capacity per earbud remains 55mAh each. HUAWEI claims the earbuds last 8 hours with ANC off and 5 hours if turned on.
Moving forward the earbuds feature an IP54 rating and connect to any device via Bluetooth 5.3. There is seamless connectivity to devices running EMUI 10 and older. For other Android phones, users can download AI Life from the App Gallery for additional control choices like noise cancellation type and gesture controls.
Unfortunately, HUAWEI hasn't provided the pricing and availability details yet.
