HUAWEI officially introduces a new MatePad 11.5" S PaperMatte Edition in the APAC region.
To recall, it initially made an appearance last week in Dubai. The tablet boasts a big 11.5-inch TFT LCD (IPS) HUAWEI PaperMatte panel with 144Hz refresh rate, 2.8K 2800 x 1840 resolution at 291 ppi. It also has an accurate rating of P3, a 3:2 aspect ratio. The said PaperMatte technology on its panel will provide users anti-glare for better viewing and eye care.
Inside, the tablet sports an unnamed Kirin chip which is coupled with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and an 8,800mAh large battery that charges using a USB-C 22.5W power brick.
In terms of cameras, it uses a 13MP f/1.8 rear sensor with AF and another 8MP f/2.0 for selfies and video calls.
Other features mentioned were the 4x speakers, HUAWEI 9.0 audio optimization, and two microphones for improved voice pick-up on calls.
It uses WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) connectivity while the brand also includes a Cavity Slot Magnetic (CSM) Antenna and anti-interference NearLink Antenna on the said devices.
It also supports the NearLink M-Pencil which is the 3rd generation of HUAWEI stylus which has 10,000+ pressure sensing levels and the NearLink Keyboard with low latency features.
This device also has the GoPaint App with 110+ professional brushes and paper-like canvases including the FangTian Painting Engine which allows a "myriad of layers".
The tablet also includes a PC-level WPS office with a familiar laptop interface and style on a tablet, as well as an updated HUAotes with Note Replay that shows both audio and handwritten content.
The tablet runs with HarmonyOS 4.2. It also includes HUAWEI SuperHub technology for easy file transfers between linked devices such as PCs and phones.
The tablet also includes Multi-Window mode and App Multiplier for easier multitasking.
Unfortunately, there's no pricing yet for both Malaysia and the Philippines. Meanwhile, it is expected to launch PH soon as well.
