TECNO CAMON 30 Series will be updated to Android 16, and comes with VIP services
According to a Facebook post by TECNO Mobile Philippines, the freshly announced CAMON 30 Series will be updated to Android 16.

The phones are currently running on Android 14, meaning they will receive 2 major OS upgrades.
This means that the phone will get Android's latest features once it becomes available once a year for 2 years. In case you missed it, Google releases a new version of the Android operating system once a year.
In addition, the company said that the entire line will get up to 36 months or 3 years of timely Android Security patches. This means that the phone will be protected against the latest vulnerabilities and security issues known by Google.
While the total number of updates that TECNO provides is still fewer compared with other more expensive models, it is nice to know that the company is giving its users a commitment to supporting this new smartphone line.

In addition, the company said that the CAMON 30 Series comes with Carlcare VIP Services with direct replacement or swap service and one-time FREE broken screen replacement.
Just note that the purchased unit should be activated between May 10 to May 31, 2024.
It also has a 12 + 1 month warranty period.
To recap, the TECNO CAMON 30 Series is the company's newest camera-focused smartphone lineup consisting of the CAMON 30 5G (PHP 11,999 starting price), CAMON 30 Pro 5G (PHP 19,999), and CAMON 30 Premier 5G
(PHP 23,999).The CAMON 30 Premier 5G is currently the most affordable smartphone in the country equipped with 4 (four) 50MP cameras in total.
At the back, it uses a 50MP f/1.88 Sony IMX890 main sensor with PDAF and OIS paired with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 50MP 3x periscope zoom. In front, it goes with a 50MP camera with Eye AF and Dual Color Temperature Flash to help its users take better selfies even in the dark.
