Xiaomi fans take part in forest restoration
In a statement, Xiaomi said 30 fans and staff joined the initiative at the Buhay Punalaan in Lumban, Laguna.
XFC members collectively prepared native tree seedlings to contribute to Haribon’s Forests for Life Movement, which brings together local communities to restore lost forests and mangroves in the Philippines. These seedlings play a crucial role in the continuous forest restoration initiatives in protected areas within Sierra Madre.
Tomi Adrias, Xiaomi Philippines' head of marketing, said the group seeks to continue working closely with local communities.
We want everyone to experience iconic moments in every aspect of their lives with the help of our Xiaomi products. But we also want to create iconic moments that have a positive impact on our society with the help of the Xiaomi Fans Community. We look forward to working more with our community in spearheading significant projects that create a positive impact in our communities, country, and the world, he said.
