HUAWEI highlights PC-level performance and features of its new MatePad tablets

HUAWEI says, in this day and age, the modern professional's workspace is no longer limited to their office workstation. As workers remain productive wherever they go, the demand for adaptable, powerful, yet portable gadgets has never been greater. HUAWEI has risen to the occasion with its latest MatePad tablet products, which are meant to move easily from casual use on the couch to a productive powerhouse in the virtual conference room.

The company continued that the MatePad 11.5" S and the HUAWEI MatePad SE 11" are designed to cater to different user needs, combining heavy-duty functions with sleek, lightweight shape and eye protection aspects. These devices allow users to reach PC-like productivity no matter where they are.

Lightweight and Portable: Work Wherever, Whenever

The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5" S features a metal body and a slim profile measuring at 6.2mm only and weighs at 510 grams making it ideal for students and young professionals on the go. It is also available in chic colors such as Violet and Space Gray.

It added the tablet employs a Cavity Slot Magnetic (CSM) Antenna to provide excellent signal performance while maintaining its attractive design. It has improved wear resistance and a polished, metallic finish thanks to the anodizing and sandblasting process.

On the other hand, the MatePad SE 11" uses the same CSM Antenna too. This weighs lighter at 475 grams and measures a 6.9mm thin profile. In addition, the tablet is made of high-quality 5-series aluminum alloys. All of these feats make the tablet easier and more comfortable to hold for all family members. With the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S, users can now generate reports and presentations even while on the go. The device includes an improved PC-level WPS Office 2.0, which provides efficient office capabilities with a PC-like UI style and extensive editing features. The native UI experience features window hovering, zooming, multi-window operations, touch interaction, and keyboard and mouse integration, making it an excellent choice for professionals wherever they work.

As part of the Super Device ecosystem, the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S increases productivity and facilitates device communication. Users can now work across various devices without worry. It seamlessly connects with programs like as the newly improved HUAWEI Notes for increased productivity. App Multiplier and the improved Multi-Window allow for PC-like window interactions on top of the use of multiple app screens at the same time.

Similarly, the HUAWEI MatePad SE 11" improves user productivity through features such as Multi-Screen Collaboration, Home Screen Widgets, App Multiplier, and Multi-Window. Also, if you need to work on a document but also need to rush to your next appointment or simply need an additional screen while working on a project, HUAWEI added, that users may now easily drag and drop files between devices, and copy content from PC to tablet or phone to tablet. 

This also enables users to share their keyboard and mouse while using the tablet as a monitor or notepad. The Multi-Window feature enables users to simply operate two apps at the same time while activating up to four concurrent tasks. This allows users to send critical emails while simultaneously working on other things.

Eye-Friendly Display for Comfortable Use

Working anywhere implies working at any time, which is likely to increase users' hours spent on their gadgets. Prolonged screen time can strain your eyes, which is why Huawei's MatePad tablets include eye-friendly displays that allow users to work for long periods of time comfortably.

To recall, the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5" S comes with a PaperMatte Display with anti-glare and anti-reflection tech which is made to reduce fatigue on the user's vision. Anyways, the device features an 11.5-inch 2.8K 2800 x 1840 resolution and realistic colors which is suitable for a professional who needs to work on a detailed project.

The HUAWEI MatePad SE 11" has a slightly smaller 11-inch FHD+ screen with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 400 nits brightness, resulting in clear and colorful pictures. It has automatic brightness control and many display settings that adapt to changing lighting situations for a comfortable viewing experience. 

Furthermore, the brand has included premium eye protection with both the MatePad tablets. Both of them received Low Visual Fatigue certification from SGS and Reflection certification from TUV Rheinland.

Meanwhile, TÜV Rheinland certified the HUAWEI MatePad SE 11" for low blue light and flicker-free operation. 

Paper-like feels when writing on the screen

Writing with a pen on paper is often more gratifying than using a digital gadget. HUAWEI says it's the same case with the MatePad Tablets providing users with a paper-like experience without the trouble of bringing notes and pencils when working from any place. The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S has an ultra hydrophobic, oil-resistant screen that reduces fingerprint stains, improving touch controls and lowering cleaning frequency. The nano-level etching process utilized on the screen creates a genuine paper texture. When combined with the third-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil using NearLink technology, it mimics the sound and sensation of a pencil on paper, the brand claims.

Similarly, the HUAWEI MatePad SE 11" now supports the HUAWEI M-Pen Lite, which is designed to improve the digital writing experience. It allows you to take notes, sketch, and annotate in real-time with exact stroke estimates and touch sensitivity.

The third-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil and HUAWEI M-Pen Lite work well with productivity programs like WPS Office and HUAWEI Notes, providing a more productive experience for all users. Creative users working on design projects will also benefit from using the HUAWEI M-Pencil with the GoPaint App on the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S. GoPaint, Huawei's new user-friendly painting app developed in collaboration with the China Academy of Art, includes over 100 brushes, realistic painting effects, and smart tools to enhance the creative experience.
