OPPO Philippines today confirmed that its newest line of AI smartphones will go official in the country on July 12—the Reno12 Series 5G.

New intelligent phones are coming!
The new OPPO Reno12 Series 5G consist of the OPPO Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G.

OPPO claims that these are two AI Portrait-ready smartphones delivering cutting-edge and intuitive AI technology, in line with the company's goals of making the AI smartphone experience more accessible to Filipinos.
The OPPO Reno12 Series 5G highlights the upgraded AI Eraser 2.0 technology with the "Remove People" capability to easily remove photobombers. It also has improved accuracy for Smart Lasso and Paint Over options coming frommthe Reno11 Series 5G.
The AI Studio is also pre-installed allowing users to transform any photo of themselves into a digital avatar and use other creative Portrait filter effects.
The OPPO Reno12 5G features the 50MP Sony LYT-600 Sensor with All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF and OIS for its main camera while the OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G features a 50MP telephoto portrait camera.
For selfies, the Reno12 5G packs a 32MP snapper while the Reno12 Pro 5G uses a larger 50MP shooter. Both cameras have advanced AI Portrait capabilties with Autofocus and enhanced Portrait mode which allows users choose from different zoom levels to frame their snaps. They also feature the Natural Tone technology to intelligently adjust exposure based on the scene for a more realistic lighting effects and skin tones.
The next promising feature of the devices is the AI LinkBoost, the company's newest self-developed proprietary technology feauturing the 360 degree Surround Antenna solution with a total of nine individual antennas for robust connectivity even in challenging areas.
This also has the BeaconLink technlology that enhances Bluetooth uplink capabiltiies allowing device-to-device Bluetooth to Bluetooth voice calls at a distance up to 200 meters in a completely disconnected environment.
The partner of OPPO here is Smart Communications and they have already tested the handsets in areas with weak signal, network switching, crowded area, and recovery test. According to OPPO, the device yieled impressive results and bested competing brands in all four categories.
Moreover, the devices are Space-Craft inspired with Classic Design. It goes with a futuristic vibe while keeping them extra durable with a nice feel.
OPPO claims that the phones are now more durable than ever and are designed to last and stay smooth in terms of performance for a long while.
The OPPO Reno12 5G comes in Astro Silver, Sunset Pink, and Matte Brown while the OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G comes in Nebula Silver and Space Brown.
