HONOR 200 Series receives AI Eraser update via OTA

HONOR has pushed the AI eraser feature to the HONOR 200 Series along with other quality-of-life updates.

New AI-enhancing tools

The new AI Eraser is a viable tool for removing unwanted objects or people in your shots by using cloud-based generative AI. This can be a helpful feature for those who want to achieve their desired shots using the HONOR 200 Series.

To do this, users simply need to head to the gallery or camera app, tap their desired photo to edit then select the edit option and pick AI Eraser below. 

Remove objects blocking the subject

From there you can choose either Smart or Manual selection mode then highlight the person or object you want to take out from the frame.

Afterward, you can just wait for the generative AI to process and remove your desired object or person. Do note this will not work without an internet connection on your phone.

Apart from this feature, HONOR also brought other tools to the series:

Bokeh Adjustment Tool - The Bokeh Adjustment Tool is a new feature that enables users to modify the aperture and focus on the subject, enhancing the blur effect to achieve a more professional appearance.

Group Photo Enhance Tool  - This tool is another new feature designed to edit up to 50 persons in a single image. It ensures that everyone appears at their best by adjusting facial distortions and correcting any mistimed blinks.

Face-to-Face Translation - The brand says HONOR AI can listen and translate live audio to different languages.

Finally, HONOR mentioned the AI Eraser feature will be available to other devices HONOR X9b, and up around September.
