HUAWEI refreshes the MateView SE Monitor with the 2024 version featuring minor upgrades 2 years after its release.
The said device is HUAWEI's entry-level monitor with professional-grade color accuracy. The brand has updated the refresh rate here with 100Hz coming from 75Hz from the 2022 version.
HUAWEI also removed the old VGA Port and has replaced it with 1x HDMI and DisplayPort which is the main wired connection that many consumers use today.
In terms of display specs, HUAWEI has retained the 23.8-inch IPS screen with slim bezels providing users a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also sports the FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 178-degree viewing angle so you can have a stable and vibrant viewing experience from different angles.
HUAWEI has also retained the 16.7M colors, 90 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 100 percent sRGB, and the Delta E > 2 color accuracy ensuring users view the precise colors on their screen.
The Huawei MateView SE has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and flicker-free performance, which helps to lessen eye strain. It also has an e-book mode that replicates the appearance of paper, thickening the letters and lessening eye strain for a more relaxing reading experience.
The monitor has a five-way joystick for control, which makes it simple and quick to modify the on-screen display (OSD) menu. This design offers a more user-friendly interface and substitutes conventional button layouts.
Finally, it is powered by 100V AC-240V power input and exhibits a 12V/2A power output.
