Redmi Pad SE 8.7 now in PH: Smaller display, Helio G85, 6,650mAh battery, promo price at PHP 5,399

Following its global announcement, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is now available in the Philippines.

Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is now official in PH

The new Redmi Pad SE differs from its predecessor by featuring a smaller 8.7-inch LCD (IPS) panel, boasting a 90Hz refresh rate and a 10-bit color depth. The display also offers two reading modes, Class and Paper, and has earned TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced blue light and flicker-free viewing.

Inside, the tablet is equipped with a 12nm 2.0GHz Helio G85 octa-core CPU, Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of expandable storage.

There's also a 6,650mAh battery that powers the device, supporting 18W fast charging via USB-C.

For photography, it features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Additional features include stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Connectivity features include optional 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM support.

Finally, the tablet runs on HyperOS right out of the box.
