In a Facebook post, Tek Yap (Tekpone) announced that the Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer is now available via Authorized Xiaomi Stores and via Tekpone in Davao City.

The Xiaomi steamer is a mini steamer for quick wrinkle removal. Its foldable design allows it to be easily stored and brought even during travels. The steamer can be also used either vertically or horizontally depending on the user.

It features 30kPA pressurized steam, and a die-cast aluminum maintaining a consistent temperature, enhanced by a ceramic enamel coating for easy gliding.

30kPa pressurization technology for powerful steam ejection delivers copious amounts of fine steam for efficient steaming without getting your clothes wet, Xiaomi said.

The steamer also has a water tank capacity of 160 mL that can steam up to six items. This can be used for various types of fabrics, namely silk, synthetics, linen, nylon, wool, and cotton.

Xiaomi said what sets its steamer apart is its ability to generate steam in only 26 seconds. Furthermore, the high-temperature steam can kill up to 99.99 percent of mites and bacteria.

Its other features include a curved steam release button, an indicator light, and a 1.9-meter rubber power cord.
