Instagram users can now leave comments on friends' Stories
After years of only being able to reply via private message to an Instagram Story, friends can leave comments too.

Leave your friends' Stories some love for the world to see!
In late August, Instagram added the ability to add text and stickers to photos. Initially, Instagram Story only allowed replies to be sent as private messages visible only person who posted the content.
Adding the ability to comment on Instagram Stories adds a new way to respond that is open to the public. However, it is limited. Only people who follow the poster and who the poster follows back will be able to leave a comment.
Just like the Stories, the comments are also temporary and will only last for up to 24 hours. Users have the option to turn on or turn off comments for any Story they share. It wasn't clarified whether the comments will be archived after a story post expires.

ReplyDeleteThis is a nice update from Instagram! Adding comments to Stories will make interactions more dynamic, even if it’s just between mutual followers. It could also be a great way to engage more with followers maybe even help get Free Instagram Followers from meaningful exchanges. Thoughts?
