Instagram now allows users to add text, stickers on photos

Instagram recently announced new features to improve user experience. A major change is that users can now add text–including newest fonts–and layer images via stickers, to photos and carousels.

To use the new tool, tap on the text button after selecting a photo from your gallery. You can layer in additional images by tapping the gallery button in the top-right corner of your screen. Tap on the sticker itself to change it from a rectangle to a square, circle, heart or star shape.

Instagram also added new fonts, animations, and effects in a simplified text tool to reels and stories.

To access, open the text tool and tap on the text button to see the new fonts. Once you've selected a font, you can animate your text or add an effect.

Lastly, Instagram has increased the carousel limit to 20 photos and videos in a single post. To do so, click on Post and then select up to 20 photos and videos.

These updates to Instagram's creative tools will give you more flexibility to express yourself and ideas in your own unique way, no matter which format you use, Instagram said.
