Intel continued it can provide 1.2 better per watt than the Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100).

As per the chipmaker, this new processor can provide up to 20 hours of battery life on a notebook which beats Snapdragon X Elite and AMD's HX 370 in some testing tools.

Another worth pointing out is the improved iGPU which is the Intel Xe2 bringing up to 30 percent enhanced performance over the predecessor. This has a built-in Intel Arc-based GPU with 8x 2nd Gen Xe cores, and 8x Ray Tracing units and is even capable of supporting up to 3 4K monitors. The new Intel Xe Matrix Extension AI provides up to 67 TOPS, aiding applications in creative domains and gaming alike.

To demonstrate the capabilities of its new AI processors, Intel compared them with AMD's latest Ryzen HX 370 series, Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite, and Apple's M3. The graphs indicated that the Core Ultra 200V processors deliver up to three times the performance per thread and an 80 percent increase in peak performance, all while offering a battery life of up to 20 hours.

Lunar Lake is expected to integrate Copilot+ PC features. In line with the most recent wireless advancements, the Core Ultra 200V series will include support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Finally, the chip is expected to debut on LG Gram 16 Pro and other brands like Acer, Dell, GP, MSI, and Samsung.
