Samsung has launched a budget phone in the form of Galaxy F05.
It slightly differs from other entry-level devices as the Galaxy F05 features stylish leather for its rear cover.
In front, the phone sports a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.0GHz 12nm Helio G85 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM + 4GB virtual RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 expandable storage.
It also has a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 25W fast charging support.
For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP main shooter + 2MP depth helper. For selfies, it uses an 8MP shooter.
Other features noted are speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
For connectivity, the phone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB-C.
For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with OneUI Core 6.0 skin on top.

Currently, it is available only in India through Flipkart. No word yet if Samsung will bring this here in the Philippines.
