Grab PH's latest solutions boost security and reliability of its ride and delivery services

Grab adds more security and reliability measures

Grab Saver

Grab's commitment to improve its services shows with the plethora of new features that were showcased by the brand. Rolled-out early in the year is 'Grab Saver' it allows Grab customers to avail a ride for more affordable rides for a slightly longer waiting time.

Grab's new Advance Booking and Multi-service type booking

The first new feature is the 'Multi-Service Type booking.' It allows Grab app users to select multiple ride types that expands the pool of rides a rider can book which should allow for faster booking times. 

Next is the Guaranteed On-Time Airport Rides with 'Advance Booking.' For a significant premium, it allows users to plan ahead and book a ride from 2 hours to 7 days in advance. Grab says that the driver should arrive early or on time. Just in case, the driver can wait up to 15 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time. This feature allows users to cancel for free for up to 1 hour before the scheduled trip. Users will pay in full if they cancel within 60 minutes of the scheduled ride.

Grab's new security features for drivers and passengers

Grab has also rolled out 'Trip Monitoring' feature where the app monitors all trips closely to identify unplanned stops or prolonged trips. In an unlikely event that a trip has any, the app will prompt the user whether they are okay or if they need help.

Alongside the previous feature is 'Audio Protect.' The app will be recording audio during rides to promote a safer experience for both passenger and drivers. For privacy, the audio is stored on-device for 7-10 days and will only be uploaded to the cload when a complaint has been reported.

Grab's new Family Account

'Family Account' allows parents to make an account where they can book, oversee, administrate and track the accounts of other family members.

'Large Orders' allows groups of varying sizes order in large quantities while booking from a pool of multiple small vehicles or a pool of larger vehicles.

Grab Unlimited's latest addition

Lastly, Grab Unlimited has been upgraded with the integration of the Discounted GrabCar rides subscription. This means that the subscription with thirty 10 percent off vouchers for GrabCar rides can be availed through Grab Unlimited.
