TECNO: We are the top smartphone brand in the Philippines based on Q3 2024 shipments

Yesterday, Canalys researched shared its latest Q3 2024 estimates for "sell-in" shipments of smartphones in the Philippines. The brand on top of the list is Transsion Holdings.

To those who do not know, the company Transsion Holdings has three (3) different smartphone brands—TECNO, Infinix, and itel.

Among those brands, TECNO claimed in a Facebook post that the brand is Transsion's major contributor.

Moreover, the company claimed that because of that, it is the top smartphone brand in the Philippines based on Q3 2024 shipments.

TECNO hasn't shared the exact figures, but this means that the brand likely got more than 16 out of Transsion's 33 percent of the Philippine market share to beat OPPO for the number 1 ranking.

According to our quick chat with TECNO Philippines representatives, its best sellers during the quarter are the SPARK GO 1 (PHP 3,499 starting price) and CAMON 30 5G (PHP 11,999 starting price.
