OnePlus founder Pete Pau teases the OPPO Find N5, a foldable with no crease
SVP & CPO of OPPO and OnePlus Founder Pete Lau teased the upcoming OPPO N5 foldable smartphone ahead of launch.

The slimmest foldable phone is coming and it has no crease!
The Find N5 is also expected to come with a OnePlus counterpart, the OnePlus Open 2.
Based on the teaser image, the device appears to have no crease at all when placed side by side with another foldable from a competitor (probably the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6).
Obviously, the Find N5 will also have a bigger screen real estate for better content consumption than the said competing foldable smartphone.

Pete also confirmed that the device will be equipped with IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance. This means that it has the highest certification against fresh water damage among all foldable smartphones today.
The handset is also being teased as the thinnest foldable smartphone at just around 4mm thick when opened.
The device is confirmed to launch on February 20, 2025.
