MWC 2025: Infinix reveals solar charging concept

A new way of charging devices in the future?
This concept called the SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology utilizes perovskite photovoltaic material integrated with AI algorithms allowing smartphones to collect and store light energy from both indoor and outdoor environments.
The brand also added a specially designed phone case that supports seamless energy transfer via discreet contact points, ensuring a consistent power supply.
Meanwhile, Infinix also speaks of AI-powered feature dubbed the Sunflower Wireless Charging Technology which automatically lets the device tweak its power transmission based on its position and lighting condition, thus providing an efficient charging within a 3 meter range.

Apart from the groundbreaking charging tech, Infinix also showcased the E-color shift 2.0 once again. To recall this also leverages AI for changing the phone's back design reflecting the user's emotions or mood.
In fact, users can choose between 6 patterns and 6 color palettes, creating up to 30 distinctive designs.
The AI-Recognize Mode improves the user experience by adjusting the phone’s appearance in response to environmental factors like weather and wallpaper settings.
For now, there's no word yet when these concepts will be available for commercial use, but it is rather fun to see such fresh ideas in the ongoing biggest tech convention in the world.
