TECNO
Infinix
At the ongoing GrabX 2025 event in Singapore, the company launched an array of new products tailored to the needs of its consumers.
Plenty of new solutions for every Grab user

These services powered with the help of the latest AI technologies will be available to its Southeast Asian market.

Fresh personalized services designed for Grab users

First is the Grab for Family | Teens. Starting in May, Grab claimed that this service is designed to provide a safe and reliable ride for teenagers aged 13 to 17. Teen accounts could be linked to your Grab for Family account, where the teenager can book rides on their own or have rides booked by the parent or guardian.

Grab said that it has several extra safety features such as prioritized assignment to top-rated driver partners with proven track record, ride PIN verification to make sure that the teen will ride the right car with the correct driver (no PIN, no ride), and always-on AudioProtect which will use GenAI to detect in real-time if there's anything dangerous happening in the car so Grab can intervene immediately.

The company also aims to make "Gatherings made seamless," which is now across Southeast Asia. They have added a number of behind-the-scenes improvements to make sure your large orders, especially for special occasions like Christmas, Chinese New  Year, Ramadan, and more, will arrive reliably.

Grab said that they tailored a Large Language Model ( LLM) to determine if it's a large order by estimating the weight and size of the item you order. They do this across 175 million food variations on its platform for millions of transactions every hour.

If the order is too bulky or heavy for one person to handle, they will find a 4-wheeler to deliver the order. They can even split the order into two and assign it to two separate motorbike partner delivery partners. The riders will be dispatched in a way that ensures both halves of the order won't arrive too far apart.

Grab also has new solutions for "solo users".
GrabFood for One

Now live in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, the company introduced GrabFood for One, where it is easy for the user to find single-item options with no minimum spend and a fixed low delivery fee.

Grab said that they worked with merchant partners to curate and design a diverse list of meal options that users can order through a quick checkout experience.
Shared Saver

Another cool new feature is the Shared Saver. This service will launch first in Singapore in April and will roll out in other cities by June.

Grab Shared Saver is joining a group order with strangers. Grab's AI will detect when there are multiple orders in the vicinity for the same merchant to start a Shared Saver order.

There is a countdown timer to tell the user how soon you need to make a decision and how much you've saved on delivery by piggybacking on someone else's order.

The user can also start initiating a shared order, and Grab will help in inviting nearby eaters in the same area to join the delivery. Grab said that the doorstep delivery of this service is even cheaper than Saver delivery. There is no small order fee as well.
Advance Booking (Airport Pickup) announced
Advance Booking (Airport Pickup) announced

Grab also announced the Advance Booking (Airport Pickup) feature. This is now available in several airports, like Kuala Lumpur International Airport 1, Sletar Airport in Singapore, Phuket International Airport, and more. The service will be available in more cities in the coming months.

According to the company, this service offers a reliable and predictable solution that adjusts dynamically to the flight schedule of its user. The user could make the booking before leaving his or her home, and the system will track the flight in real time. Afterward, it can adjust driver schedules dynamically based on the actual arrival times to ensure that the driver is there when the user arrives.

Grab also introduced Dine Out Discovery (Powered by GrabMaps). This service will be available across all its markets in May. Reservations will also be launched in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand in May. Other markets will follow.

The company noted that this solution allows travellers to easily discover the best restaurants. Users can search and filter by cuisine, food preferences, what's popular, ratings, price, and even if it is in walking distance.

Users can also make a reservation and use the map to navigate the way to the restaurant or tap to book a ride.

Meanwhile, the Grab Travel Pass that is now available across all countries with Grab allows travelers in Southeast Asia to access vouchers for airport transfers, transportation, food delivery, dining experiences, and more. Users can purchase this even before leaving their home country.

Grab also announced the Grab Early Access Programme for its early adopters. Users can sign up here.
