Samsung will officially roll out its latest version of Android and One UI 7 skin for its Galaxy devices.

The first devices with One UI 7

As per the brand, it will now update several devices starting in April, featuring an improved AI feature and, more intuitive and personalized user experience. Samsung also noted that the update helps users interact "more naturally" with their devices. The update will be supported on Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, and more smartphones and tablets gradually.

Key Features of One UI 7:

  • Redesigned Interface - Simplified home screen, customizable widgets, and lock screen for easier navigation.
  • Now Bar - Displays real-time updates (fitness progress, music playback) directly on the lock screen.
  • AI-powered tools - Enhances productivity and creativity with features like:
  • AI Select - Context-aware recommendations, such as converting video clips to GIFs.
  • Writing Assist - Summarizes and formats text selections.
  • Drawing Assist - Generates images from text prompts or sketches.
  • Audio Eraser - Removes unwanted background noise in videos.
  • Google Gemini Integration - Enables voice commands for tasks like finding restaurants or adjusting settings.
  • Natural Language Search - Simplifies settings adjustments via voice command, such as speaking "my eyes are tired," which then triggers display comfort options.

  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy S24 Series (1st roll out)
  • Galaxy Z Flip5
  • Galaxy Z Fold5
  • Galaxy Z Flip6 (1st roll out)
  • Galaxy Z Fold6 (1st roll out)  
  • Galaxy Tab S9 Series
  • Galaxy Tab S10 Series

The update will first arrive with the Fold6, Flip6, and the S24 Series, which will then be followed by more smartphones in the coming weeks.
