COMPUTEX 2025: Acer Iconia V11, V12 tablets unveiled with up to 11.97-inch display and Helio G99

Ahead of COMPUTEX 2025, Acer launches the Iconia V12 and V11 Tablets with a slim design and entry-level features.

Back-to-school tablets

Acer has introduced the Iconia V12 and Iconia V11, two new Android tablets designed for students and families who are looking for their return to school or multimedia device usage. 

Both models feature a sleek aluminum alloy chassis in mist green, with a slim and lightweight build. The Iconia V12 measures just 7.9 mm thick and weighs 595 grams, while the Iconia V11 is even lighter at 500 grams. 

Each tablet comes with a magnetic folio case that doubles as a three-level kickstand for hands-free viewing, along with an optional stylus for note-taking and drawing.

The tablets boast high-resolution displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio for an expansive viewing experience. The Iconia V12 features an 11.97-inch screen with a 2K resolution of 2000 x 1200, while the Iconia V11 has a 10.92-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution. Both support a 90 Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and use narrow bezels to maximize screen space. 

Under the hood, the Iconia V series is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor paired with up to 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage options go up to 256GB eMMC, expandable to 1 TB via a microSD card slot.

The devices are equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery, delivering up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge, and support fast charging through a USB Type-C port. 

For photography and video calls, the tablets feature an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5 MP front-facing camera. 

Others mentioned are dual speakers that enhance audio quality, multimedia consumption, and calls.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, with the Iconia V11 offering an optional 4G LTE variant for on-the-go internet access. Additional features include a USB Type-C port and a microSD card slot for expanded storage.

The Acer Iconia V12 and V11 combine portability, performance, and versatility, making them suitable for everyday productivity and entertainment. Both tablets are available with optional accessories, including a stylus and a magnetic folio case.

Finally, both tablets run on the Android 15 Operating System.

The V11 model is going to be available in EMEA in August, while the V2 will be available for July release.

No word yet on PH availability at the moment. But we will update you once Acer makes an announcement.
