HONOR 400 Series set for May 22 launch event

After a couple of teasers, the HONOR 400 Series will now have an official launch event in Malaysia this month of May.

Today, the brand has come back with another teaser showing basically the same image, but there's an important new detail in its social media post: the launch date which is set for May 22 this year.

Based on previous rumors, here's what you can expect from these two devices. 

The HONOR 400 is alleged to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000-nit peak brightness, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with an 8GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 200 MP OIS main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP selfie snapper, and 66W wired charging.

The HONOR 400 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000-nit peak brightness, 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage.

It will also sport 200 MP main camera with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP telephoto, and a 50 MP selfie camera with a depth sensor next to it. Furthermore it will also have 100W wired charging.

Previous leaks contradict pertaining to their batteries. Some reports suggest there would be 5,300mAh while other leakers claimed we could see over 7,000mAh.

Finally, rumored EU pricing are EUR 499 (around PHP 31.3K) for the base model 400 and EUR 799 (PHP 50.2K) for the 400 Pro.

For now these information about the phones are leaks only so please take them with a grain of salt. Lets all wait for the official announcement.
