Samsung crowned as king of soundbars for 11th year
According to FutureSource Consulting, Samsung held a 20.1 percent share of the global market by revenue and 18.4 percent by sales volume in 2024, reinforcing its dominance in the premium audio sector since 2014.
Chris Almazan, Head of AV at Samsung Philippines, attributed the company’s success to its high-quality audio experience, which delivers powerful bass and precise sound through the “Samsung Sound Effect.”
There’s nothing like the Samsung Sound Effect that enables our users to experience sound like never before. With seamless TV and soundbar integration, bi-directional sound, and more, we’re excited to continue introducing audio innovations for exceptional sound experiences, Almazan said
Flagship Soundbars Elevate Home Entertainment
Samsung’s Q-Soundbars, including the award-winning
HW-Q990D, offer immersive 3D audio with Wireless Dolby Atmos. The Ultra Slim
HW-S800D, praised for its sleek design and performance, was named an Editor’s Choice by Techlicious. Both models enhance audio-visual experiences through Q-Symphony, which synchronizes soundbars with Samsung TVs.
Sound Towers Enhance Group Experiences
Designed for gatherings, Samsung’s
Sound Towers provide bi-directional sound and deep bass, ensuring even audio distribution. Built-in LED party lights add to the atmosphere, making them ideal for events ranging from large celebrations to intimate karaoke sessions.
Samsung plans to expand its sound device lineup this year, introducing AI-enhanced surround sound and improved connectivity. “We aim to bring Filipinos sound experiences that exceed expectations,” Almazan said.
Customers can enjoy discounts of up to PHP 17,000 on Q-Soundbars and a free microphone with Sound Tower purchases until May 31, 2025. Visit the official
Samsung page or authorized dealers for details.
