Affordable glasses that won't compromise?

The lightweight wearable integrates a camera, AI interaction, and mobile connectivity in a 40-gram frame.

Design-wise, the AI Glasses mimic conventional eyewear and come in three frame styles. They offer electrochromic and colored lens options, with the former enabling users to adjust tint via a two-finger swipe. Additionally, it has IP54 rating for dust and water resistance to handle some dusts and splashes.

The glasses also provide four brightness levels and are designed based on 70,000 head scans to better fit Asian facial structures. The frame is made of lightweight nylon, with hinges constructed from aviation-grade titanium alloy.

Snapdragon AR1 SoC

Inside, it also sports a 1.9GHz Snapdragon AR1 chipset with Adreno GPU and 3rd-gen hexagon NPU to handle the AI tasks.

Powering the unit is a 263mAh silicon-carbon high-density battery with up to 8.6 hours of standard usage, 21 hours for standby, 7 hours music playback or 45 minutes of video recording.

The device also feature a 12MP first-person camera capable of 2K video recording at 30fps, along with a five-microphone array for voice commands, video calls, and audio capture.

According to Xiaomi, the camera includes electronic image stabilization and can be activated via voice using the built-in "Super Xiao Ai" assistant or a physical button on the frame.

Users can livestream, make video calls, and take photos hands-free, though a blinking orange privacy light indicates when the camera is active.

The smart wearable integrates with Xiaomi's smart ecosystem, allowing users to control connected devices, adjust thermostats, or scan QR codes for payments using voice commands. It supports 14 third-party apps for functions like livestreaming, real-time translation (10 languages), and object recognition.

Some features, such as secure QR payments, are not yet available but are expected to launch via an OTA update in late September.
