The HOT 50 Pro+ last year impressed with its slim premium build for a budget phone. The newly announced Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ 5G is looking to be even better.
This is the new Infinix HOT 60 Pro+

A slim budget phone with almost no compromise?

The new Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is just 5.95mm slim, making it the slimmest 3D Curved Phone in the world. It is also extremely lightweight at just 155 grams.

Despite its slim design, Infinix didn't skimp on durability. The device features an aerospace-grade aluminum with a four-corner reinforcement design with up to 1.5 meters drop resistance, a NanoFiber Backshield at just 0.36mm with 4x stronger impact resistance, Gorilla Glass 7i curved glass display protection, and IP65 dust and water resistance.

The display is very good on paper, too. It uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2340Hz PWM dimming, 1.5K 2436 x 1080 resolution at 393 ppi, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 4,500 nits peak brightness, 93.40 percent screen-to-body ratio, SGS Low Blue Light certification, Always-On, an In-Display fingerprint reader, and a top-center punch-hole to house its 13MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

Under the hood, decent for entry-level phones. The device is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Helio G200 octa-core processor with 8GB LPDDR4X, up to 8GB Extended RAM, and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The other highlight is that Infinix managed to fit a large 5,160mAh battery despite being 5.95mm slim. In comparison, the slightly slimmer 5.8mm Samsung Galaxy Edge has significantly less battery at 3,900mAh.

Infinix said that they managed to achieve this feat by using the "industry's thinnest 5,160mAh battery" that delivers max density while being 20 percent smaller than traditional cells. The company also claims that this has a 5-Year Durable Battery.

It also has NFC Touch Transfer, Sound by JBL stereo speakers, and UltraLink calls even without a cellular signal.

The phone runs on Android 15 OS with XOS 15.1 skin on top. It promises a cleaner look, faster app loading. It also has a 5-Year Performance Fluency certification by TÜV SÜD.

Of course, the phone has plenty of AI features and the One-Tap AI Button.
