We just got the new Infinix HOT 60 Pro+, and this is one of the company's most exciting budget phones so far. Why? This is the world's slimmest under 6mm 3D-curved AI smartphone. |
The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ |
Let's take a look at Infinix's latest and slimmest budget contender.
To recall, the new HOT 60 Pro+ features an even thinner design than its predecessor with a 5.95mm measurement, a 120Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, a 6nm Helio G200 octa-core chip, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage, a 5,160mAh battery, 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor, and One-Tap Infinix AI.
Now that you know what to expect, let's dive deeper!
Unboxing/Accessories
 |
The box and what's inside |
The phone arrived with a familiar Green Infinix Box. You get to see the brand's logo, the storage model, and Sony and JBL branding.
Inside the box, you'd find the smartphone unit, USB-C cable, 45W charging brick, transparent case with striped pattern, SIM injector tool, tempered glass, and the usual paperwork.
Build Quality/Design
Infinix retained the aerospace-grade material in its frame for enhanced durability and tensile strength. The device also features a 4-corner reinforcement design, certified for 1.5-meter drop resistance, along with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
 |
The HOT 60 Pro+ back view |
The HOT 60 Pro+ back panel uses 0.36mm glass-fiber composite with 4x stronger impact resistance, all while maintaining its slim figure.
Furthermore, Infinix also manages to improve its shock absorption thanks to the Structured Space Design, which utilizes a distributed flat architecture for its internal components.
Based on our experience, the phone impresses us with its tough construction both inside and outside; it doesn't budge when you bend it with some applied force, which is remarkable considering its thinner body measuring at just 5.95mm. That's 0.85 slimmer than the 6.8mm of its predecessor.
 |
Paper-thin frames |
The HOT 60 Pro+ is a lot slimmer than an ordinary notebook and is almost as thin as 4 credit cards stacked together.
In terms of design, our unit features a Titanium Silver colorway, exuding an elegant yet sleek aesthetic. When light hits the back panel, you'll notice a subtle glow that accentuates its premium and sophisticated appeal.
Pair it with the included transparent case, and you'll get a stylish RIMOWA-like look, thanks to the combination of the phone's Titanium Silver finish and the case’s distinctive stripe patterns.
If you like other colorways, you can select Sleek Black, Coral Tides, and Misty Violet.
We would also like to point out its resistance to fingerprint smudges, which is a plus for those who don't prefer using their case.
 |
The left and right sides |
Looking at the right side, you'll find volume rockers and a power button. While the left portion was left blank on the frame.
 |
The top and bottom views |
The upper view will provide you with a speaker grill with the Sound By JBL logo and a microphone hole.
The bottom area will give you a SIM card slot, another microphone hole, a USB-C port, and another speaker grill to complete the stereo setup.
 |
The display |
In front, the device has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an improved 1.5K 2436 x 1080 resolution. The screen also has Gorilla Glass 7i protection against accidental drops and scratches.
The display is beautiful for a budget phone
It also has 4,500 nits peak brightness, making it usable under the sunlight, and has even earned SGS Low Blue Light certification from SGS.
Inside, it features a slight upgrade with the 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G200 8-core processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, paired with 8GB RAM + 8GB extended RAM and large 256GB storage.
Another thing we noticed is the 5,160mAh battery capacity despite having a 5.95mm thickness. Furthermore, Infinix noted its battery has a 5-year durability rating for longevity purposes.
 |
The cameras |
In terms of camera hardware, Infinix significantly improved its main sensor by using the 50MP Sony IMX882, coming from the 50MP Sony IMX582 of the HOT 50 Pro+. It has two other sensors for light sensing and infrared.
Finally, despite being an entry-level Infinix added essential AI features powered by Google Gemini that may aid students alike in their productivity. It has a One-Tap AI, Ask everything, Circle to Search, Folax Voice, Smart Touch, Call Assistant, Translator, Document Assistant, Writing Assistant, AI Note, Recording Summary, Subtitle, Wallpaper Generator, and AI Gallery.

As of the moment
The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ brought promising upgrades for a discounted price of PHP 7,799.
The thin profile and its weight have been improved while slightly increasing its battery. Moreover, Infinix retained its aluminum frame and added shock-absorbing technology to further enhance its toughness in case an accident happens.
Its display is now sharper and brighter, while the main camera has also been updated with a sensor you'd see in a higher price bracket.
There's a slight bump on the processor, which we expect to provide minimal performance improvement, all while still having 256GB of storage.
Lastly, it is even packed with useful AI features that may help students or young professionals in their daily activities.
We can't wait to test it further on our full review, but for now, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ might just be the "Paper-thin budget killer of 2025".
