Why the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is the affordable yet super-slim smartphone holiday gift you need?

First introduced in August, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ instantly became one of our most recommended smartphones in the under PHP 10K range.

The handset does not look like a budget phone due to its premium materials. The curved display is top-notch for the price. The performance is not bad for the price. The cameras are decent for the price.

If you want a sleek yet capable phone, we think that the HOT 60 Pro+ delivers for us.

Why the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is the affordable yet smartphone holiday gift you need?

Design and durability

We tested the phone for over a month without a case, and it barely had scratches.

At just 5.95mm—one of the slimmest phones this year, yet sturdy in hand.

Despite being slim, it has a tough build with an a
erospace-grade frame, 4-corner reinforcement, IP65 rating, Gorilla Glass 7i screen protection, and shock-absorbing internal architecture.

Moreover, it has a smudge‑resistant back, stereo speakers with "Sound by JBL" branding, and a wide range of colorways—Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Coral Tides, Misty Violet, Sonic Yellow, and Moco Cyber Green—adding a premium feel.

Amazing display and great sound for the price

The display
The display

One of the main highlights of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is that it is packed with a 6.78-inch curved panel. AND, it is not your ordinary budget phone display. It is an AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and SGS Low Blue Light—all rare at this price point.

In our experience, we were able to enjoy this display while watching Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and more. It has accurate colors, wide viewing angles, and comes with extra-smooth scrolling.

In comparison, there are still a handful of sub-PHP 10K smartphones using lower-end LCD panels with lesser resolution and not that smooth refresh rates.

Moreover, it has more than decent speakers for the price. This phone uses  Stereo speakers tuned by JBL with a bright signature, with clear mids and highs.

Reliable daily performance, good enough battery, and AI features

The benchmarks

The device delivers reliable daily performance thanks to its 6nm Helio G200 chip paired with 8GB RAM (expandable virtually) and 256GB storage, putting it ahead of other entry-level processors like the Snapdragon 680 and Helio G88 in this price bracket.

Battery endurance is equally impressive. Despite its slim profile, the phone's 5,160mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging, lasted 15 hours and 35 minutes on PCMark, roughly 12 hours of screen time, and excellent standby efficiency.

Beyond raw specs, the phone leans into practical AI features that genuinely add value for students and young professionals: One-Tap AI, Circle to Search, Folax Voice, Writing and Document Assistant, AI Note and Recording Summary, Subtitle generation, Wallpaper Creator, and AI Gallery tools all combine to make everyday tasks smoother and more intuitive.

Camera improvements that matter

Many similarly priced smartphones are only equipped with "okay" cameras. That's not the case with this phone.

Its upgraded 50MP Sony IMX882 main shooter was able to deliver sharper images, better details, and improved low-light performance compared to the previous model—among the best main cameras at this price.

In our tests, it has strong daylight performance, decent portraits, and improved night shots; the selfie camera holds up well in good light for social posts.
