Samsung has introduced a new lineup of sound towers, designed to deliver what the company describes as immersive and powerful sound. 

As the global number one TV and soundbar brand, Samsung stated the new products are intended to allow users to turn any location into a party venue.

An exclusive launch event was held to demonstrate the sound towers, allowing guests to experience the audio. The event featured performances from OPM bands Over October and The Itchyworms.

Music connects people in the most powerful way, said Samsung Philippines Head of AV Business Chris Almazan. The new Samsung Sound towers are designed to bring people together through vibrant sound and unforgettable experience – anyone can bring the party wherever they go.

Built for different Spaces

The new sound towers are engineered to create large soundscapes for various settings, from big parties to intimate jam sessions at home.

The MX-ST50F

The MX-ST50F model includes built-in wheels and a telescopic handle for portability. It offers custom bass modes, adjustable party lights, and a battery life of up to 18 hours. 

This also offers up to 240 watts of sound output, which can offer deep, dynamic bass and crystal clear mid and high sounds, making it ideal for large party gatherings or even at-home celebrations.

Furthermore, it also offers an IPX4 rating as protection against unexpected rain or accidental splashes from multiple angles.

MX-ST40F

Meanwhile, the smaller MX-ST40F model features built-in DJ sound effects and samplers, with a battery that lasts up to 12 hours. It also produces up to 160W sound output and offers 3 bass modes: Deep, Punchy, or gentle, which users can select based on their preferences.

Guests, such as music producer DJ Hoest, were able to try remixing tracks during the event, highlighting the creativity of music through Samsung's innovative software. 

The device also allows users to plug in microphones or a guitar, and its Group Play feature can link up to 10 sound towers together.

The DJ app and the price

Through the Samsung Sound Tower App, users can adjust audio settings and access a Karaoke Mode directly from their phones.

The sound towers are engineered to deliver powerful, punchy sounds to elevate the experience of making memories with music. We want everyone to experience how these versatile sound towers can transform any setting into the perfect space for sharing and enjoying music, Almazan said.

The event also featured live performances from Over October and The Itchyworms, who used the new sound towers. The Itchyworms previewed their upcoming appearance on Samsung Sound Sessions, an episode scheduled to premiere on Samsung's official social media pages this December.

Samsung Sound Sessions is a series that showcases Philippine musicians. New episodes are released every Thursday at 6 pm.

The new Samsung Sound Towers are now available on the Samsung Online Store. A discount of up to PHP 2,117 and a free microphone are being offered with purchase until December 31, 2025.
