vivo Y19s 5G launched: Dimensity 6300, 6,000mAh battery, and IP64 rating

vivo has launched the Y19s 5G in India, expanding its affordable smartphone portfolio.

Tough and reliable entry-level

The device measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19mm and weighs 199 grams. It is available in Majestic Green and Titanium Silver colorways and offers an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The phone features a 6.74-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen also offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 700 nits, and covers 70 percent of the NTSC color gamut.

Powering the device is the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 8-core chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

 It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable via microSD card up to 2TB.

A 6,000mAh battery provides the power, supporting it with USB-C 15W fast charging for all-day usage.

The cameras

The camera system includes a dual-rear setup with a 13MP main sensor and a 0.08MP secondary camera. Meanwhile, the front features a 5MP selfie camera.

Other notable features are the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and 200 percent volume speakers.

For connectivity, the phone supports WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), dual 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM.

Finally, it runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 and is expected to receive future system updates.

It is currently available in India. No word yet for a PH release at the moment.
