A new leak from Germany shows an alleged "iPhone Fold" CAD render for case and accessory makers.

It is reported that the inner folding screen of the handset will feature a 7.76-inch display with a 2713 x 1920 resolution. Based on conversions, this has an aspect ratio that is very close to 1.41:1.
If this is legitimate, it confirms that Apple isn't settling for the usual squarish folding screens found on other book-type foldables.

This means that it'll come with fewer black borders when watching HD (16:9) video content for a more immersive viewing experience and will be compatible with most iPad apps.
When unfolded, it measures 120.6 x 167.6 x 4.8 mm.

Meanwhile, the cover screen measures 5.49 inches with 2088 x 1422 resolution. This measures 20.6 x 83.8 x 9.6 mm when folded.
Design-wise, it has two cameras at the back with a similar island to the iPhone Air. Both the cover and the inner screen might feature a punch-hole selfie camera.
The first foldable iPhone is rumored to launch in September. But there are also recent reports that it might not be available until early 2027.

Interesting leak if true, especially the wider inner screen that could make watching videos and using iPad apps much more immersive.
