Are these our first look at the next Pro X-series?

Both smartphones have a similar look with a vertical pill-shaped camera module with dual cameras. On the right side of the pill is the LED flash. The Pro Max carries a dual-LED flash, while the Pro has a single LED flash.

From the front, the renders depict that both phones look identical.

Earlier leaks claim that the Pro variant will come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is speculated to have the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging. The back camera is supposedly a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP selfie camera. It comes with IP68 + IP69 + IP69K dust and water resistance, NFC, IR blaster, and an optical fingerprint scanner.

While the POCO X8 Pro Max will reportedly come with a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2000 nits peak brightness, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It will supposedly have the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. Its cameras include a 50MP Light Hunter 600 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 20MP OV20B selfie camera. Other features include dual speakers, LHDC 5.0 audio, a 3D ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint sensor, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68 + IP69 + IP69K dust and water resistance.

Both phones are expected to run Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0.

Not much else is known about either phone.

Take this information with a grain of salt until POCO's official launch, as changes can still be made.

What do you guys think?
