Global Xiaomi 17 Series set for Feb 28 debut

Xiaomi confirms the official launch date of its flagship lineup, Xiaomi 17 Series, for international markets.

The countdown begins

To recap, the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were first introduced in China in September 2025, followed by the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in December of the same year. 

However, these initial releases were limited to the company's domestic market. The upcoming event will mark the international debut of the devices.

According to Xiaomi's dedicated global launch page, the event is scheduled to take place on February 28, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain, shortly before the start of Mobile World Congress 2026.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The event is expected to focus on the standard Xiaomi 17 and the high-end Xiaomi 17 Ultra. These models are anticipated to lead Xiaomi’s premium lineup this year, featuring advanced imaging technology co-engineered with Leica.

The launch event, titled "The New Wave of Imagery," is set to begin at approximately 14:00 GMT+1 in Barcelona and will be livestreamed via official channels.

While detailed information remains limited, the official teaser confirms that registered participants may have a chance to win a new AIoT product. 

Additional benefits include 24 months of quality assurance, one free screen replacement within six months, and out-of-warranty repairs with no labor costs during the warranty period. It has not yet been confirmed whether the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max models will be introduced in international markets. Further details are expected to be announced at the event.
