Real gaming phone contender for 2026
The device highlights consistent power delivery, immersive visuals, and precise control for gaming.
Design-wise, it is available in Black and Silver colorways. Both have faint beehive-like patterns for their unique gamer look. Additionally, it carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
In front, the phone features a 6.85-inch flat Samsung M14 AMOLED display with a 2K 3168 x 1440 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 8,000 nits peak brightness, and 118 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
The display also boasts a 4000Hz instant touch sampling rate and 480Hz multi-finger response, making it suitable for competitive play.
Inside, it is powered by the 4.6GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with Adreno GPU.

It is available with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The device also incorporates iQOO's in-house Q3 esports chip, enabling features like real-time 2K game upscaling, full-scene ray tracing, and 120fps frame interpolation. According to iQOO, the phone has recorded an AnTuTu benchmark score of 4.51 million.
The device also utilizes an Ice Dome cooling system with a 17x17mm 59-blade fan, an 8,000mm² vapor chamber, graphite layers, and aerogel insulation, which is TÜV Rheinland certified.
Power is supplied by a 7,400mAh single-cell Blue Ocean battery, which supports USB-C 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
For cameras, it uses a 50MP Sony IMX921 OIS main shooter + 50MP ultra-wide camera + a Sony IMX882 3x telephoto camera and up to 100x digital zoom.
Both the main and telephoto cameras feature CIPA 4.5-level stabilization. The front-facing camera uses a 32MP sensor. For video, the rear system supports recording up to 8K, while the front camera supports 4K recording.

Gaming controls are augmented by pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, a magnetic-axis 091640 motor for 4D vibration feedback, and a 500Hz gyroscope.
It also includes an under-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.
Connectivity options are WiFi 7, dual 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM. The phone also incorporates 29 antennas for enhanced signal reception.
For OS, the iQOO 15 Ultra ships with OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.
The software introduces Atomic Motion 6.0 animations and a redesigned Game Space dashboard for managing games and performance metrics. It supports 2K 60fps screen casting and one-tap streaming for several major titles at sustained 144fps.

The phone is currently only available in China. Unfortunately, iQOO is not available officially in the Philippines. You may obtain it via 3rd party means and exercise caution that comes with it.
