New mid-range iQOO Z11 comes with Dimensity 8500 and a 9,000mAh battery

iQOO recently introduced a new mid-range smartphone with solid specs for performance-hungry customers on a tight budget, called the Z11.

A new promising mid-range smartphone

This device features upper mid-range specs despite having an affordable starting price of CNY 2,299 (around PHP 20K).

It includes an IP68/69 dust and water-resistant, military-grade, durable body measuring 163.72 x 76.17 x 8.25 mm, which weighs 216.5 grams.

In front, the handset features a high-quality-looking 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 1.5K 2800 x 1260 resolution, 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek's 4nm Dimensity 8500 octa-core processor with up to 3.4GHz clock speed and ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. This is the same high-performance chipset found on the highly regarded POCO X8 Pro with a similar target market.

iQOO also paired it with 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage.

What made this even more special is that it packs a MASSIVE 9,020mAh battery capacity. In comparison, this is 2x bigger than one found on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with a tiny 5,000mAh battery. 

According to the company, it can withstand over 10 hours of continuous mixed-use scenarios while retaining 50% of its charge with the help of its Blue Ocean Battery System.

Moreover, this supports 90W of wired Type-C charging and reverse charging.

While cameras are clearly not the priority of this phone, iQOO equipped it with a 50MP f/1.79 OIS main shooter and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. It also has up to 4K of video recording.

In front, it uses a 16MP f/2.45 main shooter.

Other specs include stereo speakers, an IR Blaster remote control, WiFi 6, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

The phone runs on Android 16 OS with Origin OS 6 skin.
