TECNO SPARK 50 5G launched: Pixel-like design, 6.78-inch LCD, and Dimensity 6400 chip

The Tecno SPARK 50 5G has been launched in India, expanding the range of options in the budget 5G segment.

Budget, Stylish, and Sleek

The device emphasizes battery capacity and practical functionality along with a sleek design. It is available in Champagne Gold, Fantasy Purple, Ink Black, and Mint Green colorways.

Above that, it includes an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

Pixel-like design

The phone features a 6.78-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the screen offers a claimed peak brightness of 560 nits for outdoor use.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is available with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable via a microSD slot.

There's also a  6,500mAh battery that supports USB-C 45W fast charging.

The rear camera setup consists of a single 50MP sensor, accompanied by an 8MP front-facing camera. The rear camera module features a pill-shaped design.

Another feature mentioned is the 3.5mm jack for wired audio connectivity.

It supports WiFi 4x4 MIMO, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.

Finally, it runs on Android 16 with HiOS 16 skin on top.

The phone is currently available in India via Amazon and Flipkart. No word yet for PH release as of this writing.
