The new DJI Lito X1 is a high-performance drone designed for beginners and travel creators. It combines a regulation-friendly weight with professional imaging and a first-of-its-kind safety system.
Its standout feature is the Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing system and its integrated forward-facing LiDAR sensor. This combination allows the drone to map its surroundings with high precision, detecting obstacles like thin branches or wires from up to 36 meters away. It works in tandem with the DJI O4 transmission system, which supposedly provides a stable 1080/60fps live video feed at up to 15km.
It is designed for portability in mind, weighing 249 grams with the standard battery. Its weight is critical as it allows users to fly in many regions without the need for registration or pilot exams. The drone features a foldable design, measuring 144 x 94 x 62mm when folded. This makes it roughly the size of a smartphone. When unfolded, it expands to 183 x 251 x 79mm.
Its lightweight frame is advertised to be capable of resisting wind speeds of up to 10.7m/s.

The camera is a 48MP f/1.7 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor that can capture up to 4K at 60fps HDR, and 4K/100fps for slow-motion. It supports 10-bit D-Log M and can save it to either the internal 42GB storage or to the microSD card.
The new drone includes several automated flight modes to simplify filming, such as ActiveTrack and MasterShots.
It is rated for 36 minutes of flight with the standard battery and can be extended up to 52 minutes with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus.
