DJI Mic Mini 2 priced in PH: 2-level noise cancellation, mixed-device transmission, and PHP 1,690 starting price

DJI has officially launched the Mini 2 portable wireless microphone, featuring mixed-device transmission and customizable colors.

The DJI Mic Mini 2 introduces several key upgrades while keeping the signature portable and ultralight design. These include three voice tone presets, two-level noise cancelling, automatic limiting (to prevent clipping), and mixed-device transmission. This means that the Mic Mini 2 makes it easier to shape their vocal character through the DJI Mimo app and makes it easier to seamlessly pair other DJI Mic series (including Mic 2, Mic 3, and Mic Mini). In addition, it provides users with more precise control compared to single noise cancellation and allows the transmitter to connect straight to compatible DJI devices such as Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, or Osmo Action 6 without needing a receiver.

The above upgrades make the Mic Mini 2 more versatile for both solo smartphone vloggers or hybrid camera/phone workflows, while maintaining the compact, all-in-one charging case storage.

DJI Mic Mini 2's key new features

It features 48kHz/24-bit omnidirectional audio with a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 120dB SPL. This should ensure clear, detailed sound capture suitable for voices and ambient audio alike.

The automatic limiting helps prevent distortion from loud sounds, while a 5-level gain adjustment and a safety track provide reliable backup recordings. The system supports dual-track recording through the DJI Mimo App for easy post-production separation of audio sources.

Weighing only 11 grams per transmitter (excluding accessories), the DJI Mic Mini 2 is discreet and comfortable for extended wear, attaching via a magnetic clip or magnet. It offers robust wireless performance with GFSK 2 Mbps transmission and Bluetooth 5.3, achieving a maximum range of up to 400 meters. Range adjusts to 300 meters with the Mobile Receiver in green light mode or 200 meters in mixed transmission blue light mode.

Each transmitter provides up to 11.5 hours, the receiver up to 10.5 hours, and the charging case extends total operating time to 48 hours under typical conditions (noise cancelling off, close-range). Quick charging is supported for roughly 70 minutes and 100 minutes for the receiver via the case.

Compatibility is broad, covering cameras (via 3.5mm TRS), smartphones (USB-C, Lightning adapter, or direct Bluetooth), computers, and DJI Osmo products through direct OsmoAudio connection. 

Additional thoughtful features include interchangeable magnetic front covers in Obsidian Black, Glaze White (included in box), and multi-color options (sold separately), plus windscreens and a carrying pouch.
