Confirmed: Drop + crush-resistant HONOR Pad X8b is coming to the Philippines

HONOR today confirmed that the Pad X8b is coming to the Philippines soon.

The HONOR Pad X8b is a new durability-focused tablet boasting a "reliable" metal body that passed the 5-star SGS drop and crush resistance rating.

There is no IP rating mentioned, but HONOR claims that it has some sort of water resistance.

In front, the tablet features a fairly large 11-inch TFT LCD (IPS) screen w/ 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ 1920 x 1200 resolution at 206 ppi. This display has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications.

Inside, it uses a 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 graphics. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

The battery is large at 10,100mAh for all-day use, and a USB-C 15-watt wired charging support.

The device also has a pair of 5MP f/2.0 cameras for taking photos and video calling, 4x speakers, and 1x microphone.

This promises a "safe OS for kids" with the HONOR Kids for tracking activities. It has time, apps, and content management.
