Moto G Stylus 2026 launched: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 50MP LYT 700C, dual IP ratings

Motorola has introduced the Moto G Stylus (2026), continuing its effort to bring stylus-equipped smartphones to the mid-range market.

Mid-range power with stylus

The device ships in multiple color options and carries the design hallmarks of the Stylus line, with the built-in writing instrument housed within the chassis. 

The phone also holds an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring it can survive water dips, splashes, and unwanted dirt.

The front of the device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel running at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 1.5K resolution. Motorola rates peak brightness at 5,000 nits, though real-world performance under varying lighting conditions has yet to be independently verified.

Under the hood, the Moto G Stylus (2026) is powered by Qualcomm's 2.4GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 5G octa-core chipset with Adreno GPU.

It is paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, supported by 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

On the camera side, the Moto G Stylus (2026) features a triple-camera system led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with a 1/1.56-inch image size. A 13MP ultrawide lens, which doubles as a macro camera, completes the rear array. 

The front camera is a 32MP shooter. All cameras support 4K video recording, with AI-assisted image processing and hybrid zoom also included.

The built-in stylus supports pressure and tilt sensitivity, extending its utility beyond basic navigation. Motorola has integrated several software features, including the ability to sketch in the Notes application and convert drawings into AI-generated images, as well as handwritten math recognition and solving.

Connectivity features are WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

The Moto G Stylus (2026) runs Android 16 with 2 years of major updates.
