On the front, the handset sports a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass, delivering a resolution of 2832 x 1280 pixels and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.
HUAWEI has remained tight-lipped about the processor powering the device, though it confirmed that the chip is paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
To manage thermals during demanding tasks, the Mate 80 Pro also employs a SuperCool Dual-Phase Change Heat Dissipation System to sustain peak performance without throttling.
