Following its initial teaser, Digital Walker will launch the MacBook Neo in the Philippines soon with big discounts and freebies worth over PHP 10K.

Apple shakes the Windows laptop market

To recap, Apple's MacBook Neo features a recycled aluminum enclosure available in Silver, Blush, Citrus, and Indigo, with the company stating that the chassis achieves 60% recycled content by weight, which Apple describes as the highest proportion in any of its products to date.

The laptop is equipped with a 13-inch Liquid Retina display running at a native resolution of 2408 x 1506 (219 ppi), with a rated brightness of 500 nits and support for one billion colors.

Under the hood, the MacBook Neo is powered by  Apple's 3nm A18 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU. The same chip that powers the iPhone 16 Pro lineup.

Furthermore, it also has a 16-core Neural Engine for running AI tasks. The base configuration comes with 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of SSD storage.

Apple says the A18 Pro is capable of handling everyday productivity tasks, creative applications, and gaming, though some industry observers may note that it was originally designed for mobile use.

The device is equipped with a 36Wh lithium-ion battery, which Apple rates at up to 16 hours of use. Charging is handled via a 20W USB-C Power Adapter.

Input options include a Magic Keyboard, a Multi-Touch trackpad, and an optional Touch ID sensor for authentication. A 1080p FaceTime HD camera is built into the display for video conferencing.

Audio is handled by dual side-firing speakers with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, alongside dual microphones. The MacBook Neo offers two USB-C ports and a headphone jack for connectivity.

The laptop ships with macOS Tahoe, which includes Apple Intelligence features such as Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Clean Up Photos, as well as built-in security tools and Private Cloud Compute functionality.
