realme launches C Series phone with MASSIVE 8,000mAh battery

In Vietnam, realme launched a new C Series smartphone with a massive battery.

In particular, the phone is called the realme C100 4G, and it has a MASSIVE 8,000mAh battery capacity with 23 hours of video streaming, over 20 hours of navigation, and 13+ hours of gaming on a single charge.

realme is calling this a "Titanium Battery" with up to 7 years of durability. In fact, the company claims that it'll maintain about 97% of battery health after a year and about 80% after 7 years.

This battery is also designed to work in all temperature conditions with an operating range of -20 degrees to 53 degrees Celcius.

It supports USB-C 45W fast charging and can provide up to 4 hours of use with a 5-minute charge.

The realme C100 4G also has an ArmorShell-protected body for extra durability with up to 2 meters drop resistance and an IP69 rating for dust and 6 meters water resistance. Moreover, the screen features ArmorShell Glass for protection against accidental drops and an ArmorShell Protection Layer for 360-degree protection. 

Colors available are White, Purple, and Brown. It measures 166.48 x 78.23 x 8.63 mm and weighs 219 grams.

In front, the phone uses a LARGE 6.8-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HD+ 1570 x 720 resolution, 1,200 nits peak brightness, and a top-center notch for the 8MP selfie camera. This screen also works even when wet.

Inside, it uses a 4G-only processor: the 12nm MediaTek Helio G92 Max with Mali-G52 graphics. It is paired with 8GB RAM LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB eMMC 5.1 expandable internal storage.

The main camera of the phone is a 50MP f/1.8 snapper with AF and comes with "Underwater Photography" support.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3 LE (SBC, AAC), NFC, GNSS (GPS), and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 16 OS with realme UI 7.0 skin on top with Google Gemini AI and Circle to Search.
