OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra launched: Dimensity 9500, 8,600mAh battery, and optional controller

After the teaser, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra goes official as a handset with higher performance and features aimed at mobile gaming enthusiasts.

The phone adopts a metal frame construction with large, rounded corners and a flat, cube-shaped camera island on the rear. It is offered in two colorways, "Ace Awakening" and "Metal Storm". 

Additionally, it carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ingress protection ratings.

The features

In front, it uses a 6.78-inch LTPS OLED panel sourced from BOE with 1.5K resolution and  165Hz refresh rate. 

The display also supports instantaneous touch sampling of up to 4,000Hz and is rated for high peak brightness output.

Inside, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is powered by the 4.21GHz 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC with Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU.

OnePlus states the processor employs an all-big-core CPU architecture, claiming a 32 percent improvement in performance and a 55 percent reduction in power consumption relative to the prior generation. 

Complementing the chipset are 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.1 storage. 

OnePlus also integrated its Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel alongside a Glacier Cooling System and a 6,000mm² vapor chamber, which the company says helps stabilize sustained performance during extended gaming sessions.

Powering the unit is an 8,600mAh dual-cell battery with USB-C 120W wired charging support and compatibility with multiple fast-charging standards.

The rear camera system pairs a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 16MP camera handles selfies from the front.

Attachable controller

Furthermore, the Ace 6 Ultra is compatible with an optional "Strix Gaming Controller," a joystick-free accessory featuring mechanical trigger buttons rated at a 1.8ms response time. 

The controller also integrates an independent e-sports chip and supports attachable magnetic cooling modules.

In terms of connectivity, it uses WiFi 7, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, and dual SIM.

The device also ships with Android 16 and ColorOS 16 out of the box.
